About:

Natália Rego graduated in 1996 in Biological Engineering by the University of Minho. In 1999/2001 get a research scholarship from the FCT financed by the PRAXIS XXI Program in the framework of the research project carried out on “Percolating Bed Biologicals Reactors for the removal of VOCs present in gaseous effluents”. In 2000 acquires the degree of Master of Environmental Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of Porto University. In 2014 acquires the title of PhD in Advanced Mathematical Techniques and their Applications from the University of Vigo, entitled “Universal central extensions of homogeneous álgebras Leibniz”. 

Since then she has developed research work on homological methods in non-associative algebras. Particularly has developed several studies on Homological algebras, such as, (Hom)-Lie–algebras and (Hom)-Leibniz–algebras. 

She is Member Associated of the research center Mathematics Center of the University of Porto -CMUP. 

She teaches since 2004 at the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave and actually is the Academic Coordinator of the School of Technology.
