About:
Joaquim P. Silva is currently assistant professor at the Technology School (EST) of the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave (IPCA). He obtained a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Minho in 2004. Since 2018, he is attending the PhD course in Information Technology Research at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain.
He has been teaching at IPCA. since the academic year 2000/01, where he was chairman of the pedagogical council and director of several degree courses. From 1993 to 2002 he worked in several textile companies as system and database administrator, application developer, and integrating work groups in the execution of studies and projects.
