AR Maintenance 4.0: Digital Twin & Mixed Reality Assisted Maintenance

In an industrial environment every maintenance procedure is important to get the best performance from production processes, but they are time expensive and can negatively impact the production efficiency because of machines downtime and possible human error.
With Industry 4.0, digital equivalent production processes (Digital Twins) are now a reality which can improve performance and efficiency of factories, however most of the time the digital twin representation is only numbers and become difficult to interpret. This project has the objective to integrate the maintenance work with digital twin and create a virtual representation of the maintenance processes, aiming to reduce the downtime of machines, reduce human error.
